      <image:caption>For a long time I suffered with painful periods, PMS, tiredness and low moods. Often feeling like I can’t keep up with the fast pace of the world we live in, especially during my bleed. I’ve been told I am too emotional, too sensitive and lazy. I didn’t understand how other women could continue the same during this time, often judging myself and feeling like there was something wrong with me for not being able to. I would dread this time of the month - the exhaustion and the emotional turmoil I would face. I was tired, I was low, I was disconnected with my cycle. I didn’t see all the magic that there was in being a woman. Working with my cycles though yoga awakened me to my WHOLE cycle - not just my bleed. There is something so grounding in embracing this rhythm. I used to see everything around me as constantly changing and I was completely lost amongst it. Using these practices I will share during this series I have learned to become more grounded in predictably changing emotions and energy, embracing change while shifting the stagnant. From this education I have more acceptance and understanding of the deepest parts of who I am and have transformed how I live my life, allowing myself to truly live more authentically.</image:caption>
