Pelvic Diaphragmatic Breathwork/ Sakti Pranayama

You will be guided through a Breathwork to help you connect to the inner flow of breath that can be witnessed within your pelvic bowl.

You do not have a pelvic floor, it’s more like a diaphragm that is in continuous flow with the breath. You can tune into this space and use the breath to help strengthen and tone your pelvic diaphragm. Working with this breath over time and understanding how to strengthen and release your pelvic diaphragm can change the fascia over time, helping to smooth out tension in this area which can help relieve pain you may experience during menstruation, intercourse, lower back pain and pelvic pain.

Contraindications- If practicing during menstruation only return to the natural position of the pelvic diaphragm, do not perform the lift.

Can be practiced during pregnancy and is a really great practice to prepare for birth.

If you have any questions or feedback about the practice please get in touch.

Love,

Julia
